There's no rule saying to master the flavors of a place one must be from that place. But for executive sous chef, Tracy Cywinski, being born, bred and a graduate of the Restaurant School right here in town has forever intermixed Philadelphia and excellent cookery. From her earliest moments at the Sheraton Society Hill Hotel, Chef Tracy's passion for food was clear as she excelled in the hotel's culinary department in roles from banquet first cook to pastry chef. Then in 2007, she rose to executive sous chef to lead the culinary portion of the hotel's restaurants. From recipes, menus, and selection of ingredients, the development of Taste food profiles have been greatly influenced by Chef Tracy.
An avid health enthusiast, she has a passion for healthful cooking as well as fitness and exercise. And while not at the hotel whipping up her tantalizing dishes, she performs throughout the city as a bass player in her band, and hangs out with her dog, Pot Pie.
